The Harvey House
715 E. Clark / Redlands, California
8-10PM $10 (909) 335-1546

Fontananite song-stirrer Patrick Brayer will be appearing in an open-air concert, fresh on the heels of the release of a new volume of work, secret hits volume 42: Berdoo Lighter

He has also recently made a violin and mandolin contribution along side songwriter/slide guitar 'man of the hour' Ben Harper on an upcoming Waylon Jennings Tribute CD (I've Always Been Crazy RCA Records), which will also include Kid Rock, Alison Krauss, and John Mellencamp (in stores in July).

In his own inimitable brand of roadhouse psychedelia Brayer ties the mind of William Shakespeare, in a fit of near-obsession, to the bleeding hands of a California cotton picker. Of note on the new volume is his tribute to local songsmith Frizz Fuller, Dis Wam Me, co-written with novelist Wayne Wilson (Loose Jam /Eddie and Bella).

With his ocher Caprice Classic, usually parked out front decked in tiki torches, Brayer's appearances at the Harvey House have become somewhat private legend. This will be his 'give back' to the infamous Inland Empire, the now over-populated ghostly skeleton of orange groves and steelmills that spawned him, and an elite group that historically include, Chris Darrow, David Lindley, Ben Harper, Robb Strandlund, Sammy Hagar, Kim Nunn, Mary McCaslin, Wayne Wilson, John Jorgenson, John Hickman, Glen Glenn, and most recently Sunset scenester Kim Fowley
